Don't have time for that, but I have learned C4D from tutorials online. Google abstract shapes in C4D and you will get a ton. These collages are combinations of 3D abstract shapes. Combined in PS.;)

You won't get any ugly distorsion as long as you make sure to have enough geometry on the objects by increasing the segments ;)

When I use the hypernurbs to smooth things out,i notice it adds to render time. I just use the render engine that comes with C4D. There was one I was thinking about, someone recommended it to me but wasn't up for spending anymore money, can't remember the name now.

I use the same render engine but there are little tricks to cut the render time a bit, like setting the global illumination to low-low instead of medium or high. As a result you get almost a half of the original render time and you won't notice any difference. Or make things bigger so you can decrease the ambient occlusion's accuracy... With that kind of lil' tips I rendered this [link] in like 15 minutes, wich is not that bad imo.

How much bigger? Like compared to home grid....sorry don't use numbers- they don't make sense to me. You have to explain it to me with a visual comparison.

Oh. wow. Realyl cool. a bit big in the details maybe, but overall it works out very well. Looks like you put a lot of work in it.

the longest is in rendering each shape, which I do on a separate day from combining everything in PS. Thanks for the comment;)
