There are probably a thousands of ways to create halftone brushes or pixel based elements. I have tried many ways but I found this is the best way to get a nice smooth clean look almost vector like edges. However you will need a copy of Photoshop and Illustrator. You might have a better way but this is my recipe! By the way this is my first Tutorial I have ever written. So for all those who have asked me to do a tutorial...here it is, hope it was worth the wait!

Please do not upload this tutorial to any outside website without my permission. Thank you.

So glad, it's the best way to get those smooth vector like edges. I have tried other ways but looks jagged pixelated, yuk!

I tried it the photoshop (CS4 & CS5) way and I was not getting those clean vector like edges, they were jagged and too pixelated so I kept playing around with it and finally I came up with this version. But like I said there are a number of ways to do this but this is the one I like cause I get a great effect no matter what the shape every time.
