My First C4D Render by StarwaltDesign My First C4D Render by StarwaltDesign
:w00t: My first C4D render based on this tutorial- [link] which doesn't look anything like this but the tutorial was for the creation of one tentacle, the rest I played around with the array. Have to figure out so many other aspects of this program but having fun as a C4D newbie!!
You can download the HD 2560x1440 version here- [link]

You're welcome! C4D has one of the fastest render engines out there, might want to Google some different render settings, I know there's a few tutorials out there on the subject :D Have fun!

Thnx...I use to use Max, I think C4D is going to be a lot easier to learn. I am already blown away by how easy the render settings were compared to 3Ds Max. Did you do this in Max-[link] Very cool!! Reminds me of my Dr.Dre Beats except they are red.;)

yes. those were done in max but rendered not in the highest quality. Well yeah, maxs render settings are complicated, but i've got used to some major aspects. I use V-Ray, as it said to be the most accurate and photorealistic. I hade some works made in 3d, uploaded here, but i left only heaphones and deviant points, as they are my best. But now im working on other stuff too! improving myself a bit. Ahh theres still so much to learn! I so want to do cool stuff in max!

I am sure you will be an expert before too long, these 3D programs take a certain amount of dedication to learn the thousands of options, menus etc but if you use it a lot it probably becomes second nature to you, life photoshop is to me. I can get around photoshop blindfolded....well not really but you know what I mean.:giggle:

oh yeah:nod:
But I have been using PS for 8-9 years and I still learn something new all the time. Probably same with 3D programs.

Mine too although I do a lot in Illustrator too!
But PS hands down my fav program. I met a programer who worked for Adobe on Photoshop a few years ago and I nearly swooned over him. I thought about getting his autograph- that's how much i love PS!!!
