Couldn't sleep last night so I got up and worked on this digital painting till 2 am. Done entirely in Photoshop CS5 using brush and mixer brush tool. You can download the widescreen 1920x1200 size here- [link]
I used the 900px upload on DA to better see the brush strokes. I was inspired by contrasting objects- Glaciers and Palm trees. The ultimate global warming statement. But with abstracts these ideas merged to become something quite different.
